Children and Young People

COAST (Children of Atworth and Shaw Together) for children up to year 6.

Meets on the second and fourth Sundays in term time alongside the 11am Service in Shaw.  On the first Sunday in the month families meet together for Messy Church in Shaw (see below) and on the third Sunday for our all age Let's Celebrate Together in Atworth at 11 am.

COAST provides a fun programme to engage and amaze children whilst teaching key values of the Christian faith.

All leaders are trained and CRB/DBS checked so parents can enjoy and participate in the service knowing that their children are being well looked after.

The focus of Messy Church is learning about God in a fun and creative way and enjoying quality time together. People arrive and take part in a number of activities relating to the theme for that day. After making and creating, there is the time for celebration which can be in church. Then there is food, with a simple meal, before leaving.

Messy church provides an informal environment for all-ages to explore and experience faith and worship through crafts, food and celebration. It invites us to come together, making things together, eating together and celebrating God together.

MESSY CHURCH is held regularly in Shaw School from 3 pm - 4.45 pm

Our next Messy Church will be held on Sunday 5th November.

Messy Christingle will be held on Sunday 3rd December.

We look forward to seeing you and your family!
